The National Center for Employee Development (NCED) is located on a 62-acre campus in southeast Norman, Oklahoma. The NCED is
a technology training center and conference facility.
Our Training Building is a complex of six interconnected, two-story building wings which encloses 290,000 square
feet equivalent to 2.5 football fields in length and 2 fields deep. Built in 1988, it contains about 45 classrooms and 23
labs, which vary with course delivery needs.
Technology labs and training equipment provide students with individual hands-on experiences. The labs and
classrooms have raised computer flooring and movable walls that can be adjusted for equipment and program changes.
Our facility boasts many distance-learning broadcast booths, satellite broadcast studios, a Xerox print shop, and audiovisual systems that support the NCED learning environment. The Center also leases three remote facilities, totaling 86,000
square feet, which are used primarily to conduct vehicle maintenance courses.
Also located on the NCED campus is our conference center. This is a 6 floor hotel and conference facility that is managed by the Marriott Corporation.
