Safety 30 Hour Industry Outreach Training



Description


The Outreach Training Course presents detailed information on how the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) may be implemented in the workplace. Employee rights and responsibilities under the OSHAct, the appeals process, and record keeping are covered. The course also includes an introduction to OSHA's General Industry Standard (29 CFR 1910).


Learning Outcome


Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:


  • Identify potential hazards in the workplace & manage facility safety programs.
  • Communicate the on-site hazards within individual workplaces & list required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate fire protection basics & understand the rights and responsibilities of the safety coordinator at their location or facility.

Target Audience


  • Maintenence Managers/Supervisors and EAS employees. Safety Specialists, and designated employees. All employees involved with the development and management of the facilities safety and health programs.

Course Completion Requirements


Passing this course requires the student to: attend all training days and participate in all required tasks.
