OSHA 10 Hour Industry Outreach Training
Description
A comprehensive presentation and review of OSHA regulations that apply specifically to non-postal industry, providing employees, supervisors and managers guidance on how to interpret the OSHA regulations, and how to successfully implement a comprehensive environmental, health and safety program throughout their companies. This course discusses the most common safety violations and how to manage these and prevent such violations.
Learning Outcome
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Provide a knowledge and understanding of mandated programs required by OSHA, which specifically apply to industry and include OSHA regulations and record keeping requirements.
- OSHA Outreach Certification Program will help with safe practices for Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Protection and Prevention, Lockout / Tagout, Fall Protection, Materials Handling and General Safety and Health Provisions.
Target Audience
Employees, Supervisors, and Managers from non-postal industries such as oil and gas, construction, and general industry.
Course Completion Requirements
Passing this course requires the student to: attend all training days and participate in all required tasks.
