The National Center for Employee Development (Norman, Oklahoma) has a history of 17 years working with groups interested in teamwork, trust, group processes, winning strategies and bonding.

Our "Adventure Based Learning" course is situated on 70 acres of landscaped land (5 miles from the campus of the University of Oklahoma) and includes 5 high elements and 8 low elements.  Each element or activity has been designed to be within the physical capacity of anyone in good health.

Our "Adventure Based Learning" course is open 7 days a week for groups under the supervision of our nine NCED ABL Facilitators.  Classroom space can also be utilized to allow a training to be both practical and theoretical.

Goals
To provide education and teambuilding to Postal and external groups.
To allow the general public to utilize the NCED ABL course under the supervision of NCED trained ABL facilitators.
To spread the name of NCED to the local community.

Practices of Exemplary Leaders

  2. Participants will display communication skills participating in initiatives designed to create safe and civil interaction while accomplishing the activity's goals.
  3. Participants will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while accomplishing our short-term objectives that are placed in the context of your team's work environment.

For all external customers

  1. An NCED waiver must be signed on property.
  2. Course fee is set at minimum regardless of final session length.
